Camille has been selected to serve as an Artist in Residence at Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington this summer.
From May through September every year, Pilchuck’s program offers a series of courses as well as residencies for established artists in all media. Camille will reside for the third summer session alongside Irish musician Liam Ó Maonlaí. Other participating artists include: Davy McGuire, Kristin McGuire, Joel Otterson, John Roach, Barbara Earl Thomas, Penelope Umbrico, Mona Hatoum, Christine Tarkowski, Chakaia Booker, and Jeff Colson.
Pilchuck fosters and educates a worldwide community that explores the creative use of glass in art and design. The program invites noted artists with little experience in glassmaking to experiment with the medium on campus. Paired with an assistant, Camille will have the opportunity to address glass within her practice or add it to her vocabulary of work.
