Camille has been selected as a grantee for the 2015 Creative Work Fund in media arts! 14 grants were awarded supporting the creation of new works by San Francisco Bay Area artists who are working in collaboration with an array of nonprofit organizations to develop and present their work.
The award will go towards a collaboration with the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History to create an interactive artwork on the museum’s monumental glass atrium wall. The piece will delve into the history of the area utilizing historical photographs relating to the San Lorenzo River.
The Creative Work Fund invites artists and nonprofit organizations to create new art works through collaborations. It celebrates the role of artists as problem solvers and the making of art as a profound contribution to intellectual inquiry and to the strengthening of communities.
